The Universe is ALWAYS Unfolding Exactly as It Should

The universe is unfolding exactly as it should. The universe always gives you exactly what you need in order to grow into your highest self. Sometimes its gifts come in the form of challenges and other times they come in form of good luck. You lose your job, you suffer a serious fall, you find a $50 bill while walking in the park or you meet the love of your life.

Opportunity is everywhere

On the good luck side, I have never really wanted for work—opportunities were always there. On the challenges side, there have been plenty. For example, last year I took a serious life course in Acceptance and Forgiveness that left me emotionally bruised and battered. Although I learned a lot from it, it is not a lesson that I want to repeat—replaying it in my mind is good enough.

Things always fall into place

We don’t always get to choose what happens to us, but we do always get to choose how we respond to it. This works both for positive and negative experiences. We can choose to respond negatively to a sunny day out at the carnival with our family—wishing we were somewhere else, or we can choose to enjoy it.

You always have a choice

Sometimes it may not feel like you have a choice, but you do; even if that choice is to do nothing; however, when you do nothing, nothing about you changes—not your thoughts; not your perspective; not your figure. If you want to get in shape for the Spring, you have to work out—there is no way around it.

The world will change without you

You may decide to do nothing, but that doesn’t mean that the world around you will follow suit. It will pass you buy like rocket moving through the air at warp speed. Spring will come and you may find yourself looking back and wishing you had headed to the gym during the winter.

Different can be equally as good

We are presented with choices all the time; some are more difficult than others. Each one of our choices slightly or drastically changes the trajectory of our lives. Before we got our son, I thought of my life going one way; now that we have him, it is going in a different, but equally fulfilling way. I am still able to do all of the things I did before his arrival, but I have to do them at different times—always taking him into consideration.

Resentment is pointless

There is no point in resenting change. It just adds frustration to an already stressful situation. The sooner you accept that things are different, the sooner you can create a new life around those differences—and even embrace them.  Things don’t fall apart, they fall into place. The universe is divinely orchestrated for your growth. Grab life by its horns and take it for a ride because things are always unfolding as they should.
