WARNING: YOUR LIFE MAY CHANGE
In order to understand who I am you need to understand a little about where I came from. I’ll give you the super short version here, with the option of reading all the juicy details and some random facts about me further down.
I wasn’t always the person I am today. A lot of introspection, help and the fierce determination to live my best life is what brought me to my current self. As they say, life is a journey, not a destination. I know what its like to feel lost. I know what its like to feel lonely. I know what its scared. I know what it is like to want a fulfilling career and not know where to begin.
Life, running and the desire to nourish myself to get the best out of my mind and my body, have pushed me to grow physically and psychologically in ways I never would have imagined.
I left a small island and moved to the United States mainland carrying nothing but the clothes on my back and two suitcases.
I ran a marathon, missing the Olympic Qualifying time by 1 minute 59 seconds.
I created a career that was an extension of who I was.
What I have learned, is life is whatever you make it and I’ve chosen to make mine the best I can. This blog is my journey.

While I love to write about health, food, fitness, and personal growth, I am in no way a trained doctor, dietitian, or mental health expert. I simply write what I know from my own perspective and personal experience, which may or may not be right for you. I am not a licensed professional, master or knower of the meaning of our existence or anything of that sort. I am student in the classroom of life sharing strategies, tips and perspectives on my journey of getting to zen.
